The course has got a reputation for being one of the nicest and most challenging in Sweden. With a scratch value for men of 1.2 and 1.8 for ladies you get many beats on your handicap.

The course is beautifully situated in the area around Örbyhus Castle with a journey time of 30 minutes from Uppsala and Gävle and 1 hour from Stockholm. What used to be agricultural and arable land has been transformed into a pleasant forest and park track with eleven water holes.

In the clubhouse which was formerly the barn of Örbyhus Slott, there is a hotel with ten rooms and a restaurant with full rights.
